Northfield is part of the USATF New England Mountain series...if you run all five races you receive a lottery by-pass for the 2012 Mt Washington road race. No spots will be reserved. I've been race directing or assisting with the New England Trail/Mountain championships since 1998, I think it is time to start something new (and closer to home) so this will be the final running of the spring race at Northfield and the field will be strictly capped at 250.
